Teaching Persian to Non-Persians Courses

This center holds its teaching courses in the form of attendance , virtual, and combined courses based on global authentic frameworks of ACTFL and CEFR and based on the protocols of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. 

Attendance Courses

Attendance courses of Persian language teaching in Persian Language Center of Tarbiat Modares University are programmed in form of beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels and each level has two terms. Every level is held in three ways- normal, intensive, and semi-intensive. moreover, open teaching courses are held in form of one lesson.  

A. Normal term

 Normal term period: 38 weeks (9 months), 720 instructional hours, equals to 360 sessions

Beginner level: includes two terms of Beginner 1 and Beginner 2

Hours and instructional sessions of each term: 120 hours, equals to 60 sessions

Course duration in each term: 6 weeks/ 120 instructional hours (5 days a week, every week includes 10 instructional sessions (20 hours))

Beginner course duration: 12 weeks/ 240 instructional hours (5 days a week, every week includes 10 instructional sessions (20 hours))

 

Intermediate Level: includes two terms Intermediate 1 and Intermediate 2

Hours and instructional sessions in each term: 120 hours, equals to 60 sessions

Course duration: 6 weeks/ 120 instructional hours (5 days a week, every week includes 10 instructional session (20 hours))

Intermediate course duration: 12 weeks/ 240 instructional hours (5 days a week, every week includes 10 instructional sessions (20 hours))

 

Advanced Level: includes two terms Advanced 1 and Advanced 2

Course duration: 6 weeks/ 120 instructional hours ( 5 days a week, every week includes 10 instructional sessions (20 hours))

Advanced level duration: 12 weeks/ 240 instructional hours ( 5 days a week, every week includes 10 instructional sessions (20 hours))

 

B. Semi- Intensive Course

Semi-Intensive duration: 26 weeks (6 months), 720 instructional hours, equals to 360 sessions

Beginner level: includes two terms Beginner 1 and Beginner 2

Hours and instructional sessions: 120 hours, equals to 60 sessions

Every session duration: 4 weeks/ 120 instructional hours (5 days a week, every week includes 15 instructional session (30 hours))

Beginner level duration: 8 weeks/ 240 instructional hours (5 days a week, every week includes 15 instructional sessions (30 hours))

 

Intermediate Level: includes two terms Intermediate 1 and Intermediate 2

C. Intensive Course

Intensive duration: 20 weeks (5 to 5/4 months), 720 instructional hours, equals to 360 sessions

Beginner level: includes two terms Beginner 1 and Beginner 2

Hours and instructional sessions: 120 hours, equals to 60 sessions

Every session duration: 3 weeks/ 120 instructional hours (5 days a week, every week includes 15 instructional session (40 hours))

Beginner level duration: 6 weeks/ 240 instructional hours (5 days a week, every week includes 20 instructional sessions (40 hours))
